Only to some extent. For example, if you use (hypothetical) Python=20
add-on module with bakefile for building Python extensions or add-on=20
for compiling Pascal sources, it makes sense to let AC_BAKEFILE=20
automagically check if Python or Pascal are available. But only you=20
know what other requirements your software has (Does it use=20
snprintf()? Does it requires <hash_map> header? Does it require=20
libxml version at least 2.4.3?), so only you can write good=20
configure.in script.
