LaTeX bibliography option missing?

I'm needing the LaTeX writer for the first time in quite a while, and
I may have forgotten some details.  I am using the useful option::

	--use-bibtex=mybst,mybib

But unless I provide targets for all the citation references,
I do not get citation references in the text.  Instead the citation
references marked as errors. Since I provide the citation
info in ``mybib``, this seems completely pointless; can it be turned off?

PS I was also reminded how grateful I am to be able to use the
``listlisting`` environment and not have it wrapped in a ``quote``
environment.  Even though this has been true for a while, I again
say thanks!
