HTML only output

Good day.

I am interested to know whether it is possible to output an HTML code,
preferably XHTML formatted, without elements "head" nor "body".

I am working with Atom Syndication Format and XSLT, and therefore, I am
not interested in creating elements "head" or "body", because XSL
Transformations already does the XHTML task.
