(More importantly, this fix "makes sense", at a certain level. I do not entirely understand how doxygen is structured, but I can do input manipulations (where I change which function is first after an anonymous namespace -- and that changes which function fails to appear in the docs!) I have a larger patch to leverage your existing-but-commented-out debugging messages, in the works. That was what let me get here even this quickly -- so thank you yet again!
