Hi all,

Found a resolution for my problem, and it is to use extension mapping.
Found it by going through existing bugs reported for Doxygen and bumped
into Bug 751616 <https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=751616>.
So, all is in order and my proto2cpp
<https://sourceforge.net/p/proto2cpp/> filter
works fine also with Doxygen v1.8.8 and newer ones.

Br,
TimoM
