separated comment for union nested with struct using \var

Hello All!

I want to use a separated comment for my union which includes 2 structs and a normal element, but I don't get it working. I know there is the possibility to do the comments behind the elements but I prefer to have it separated (before) the union. Can you help me with this please? Thanks.
My code consists of C and C++ and I am using doxygen version 1.8.16 on Windows.

Code example:

* @brief this is my union
* @var myUnion::alone
* @brief this element is alone
* @struct myUnion::level1
* @brief struct level one
* @var myUnion::level1::first
* @brief first element of first struct in union
