Re: updated v1.3 Emacs menu

OK, a few things:

First, if I understand the output option, I should be able to go the 
menu, select, say, DocBook XML, run a search, and the DocBook output 
will show up in the buffer.  Is that right?  I'm not getting that 
behavior; I just get "screen."  Also, when I select the output type, I 
should get a visual indication - a check by the active output type.

Second, can you think of a way to make the movement between the 
document and a result buffer more seamless?  In other words, I search 
for author Smith, and get 30 results.  If I understand right, I need to 
click on the result buffer, scroll down, then close the buffer and 
choose "unsplit window."

Or, I suppose the other alternative is to just keep the window split at 
all times?

Finally, at some point farther down the line, it'd be nice to format 
the output of screen a bit.  Some of my titles extend beyond the 
screen, for example.  Also, maybe syntax highlighting?  Nothing fancy, 
just a bit of bold and/or color in key places to make things more 
readable.

Oh, also, how do I get rid of this at the top of the buffer?

kpsewhich: Command not found.

Obviously something to do with environment variables, a not the menus 
fault.
