I have tested the new repository by using 'apt-get install' 'dselect' and aptitude'. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: David Nebauer (davidnebauer) Date: 2006-11-17 10:43 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1080150 Originator: NO Thanks for pointing out this problem with the addons repository. I suspect the problem is with a malformed Packages.gz file in the repository tree. Some package managers (e.g., aptitude) are able to cope with the errors in the file but others cannot (e.g., dselect). I've corrected the problem and uploaded a new repository. Please test it and let me know if the problem is fixed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=385991&aid=1597383&group_id=26091 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
