It was the libdbi version, I think. I installed it from source this
time, and made it through make and make install.

BUT...

I now am faced with a problem involving libdbi.so.0: the refdb-init.sh
script reports a refdbd error: 

error while loading shared libraries: lbdbi.so.0: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

The file does seem to be available, though: it is in /usr/local/lib

I config'd refdb with sysconfdir set to /etc

Suggestions? I've just searched the other emails and it doesn't seem to
have come up. I assume refdbd is looking in the wrong directory?
