You're more than welcome to tackle this. The PHP web interface is certainly much
easier to extend than the previous C implementation.

I don't know in which form phpyaz provides the retrieved data, but it should be
possible to send the result to a pipe. You should be able to use marc2ris as a
filter to pipe the data directly into refdbc.
