Yes on both counts. It is still rudimentary, but if you have the latest
version of Yaz installed, it partially integrates it into refdb. A
desideratum is to get it so you can directly import entries from the
external databases--e.g. a marcxml2risx transformation which feeds to
the add/edit entry form.

This is high on my list, though I've not thoroughly gone through the
object-oriented innards of how the php interface connects with refdb.
