I did a table with max number of columns supported by A4 paper on different font sizes (and tested in laser printers). If you wish, you can put in documentation. +-------+------------------------+ |Font | Max columns | |Size | Portrait | Landscape | +-------+-----------+------------+ |8 | 121 | 174 | |9 | 108 | 155 | |10 | 97 | 139 | |11 | 88 | 127 | |12 | 81 | 116 | +--------------------------------+ ps: left margin="0.0787" ps2: this is the measures that works fine on laser printers (hp, magicolor, konica, etc) printing from Acrobat Reader 6 on Windows and Linux. ps3: courier font (rlib default) -- Everton Luís Berz ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf
