[Announce] Release of Apache Rampart 1.8.0

The Apache Axis2 / Rampart team is pleased to announce the general
availability
of the Rampart 1.8.0 release.

This will be the last Rampart version that supports the javax namespace
instead
of jakarta. Rampart 2.0.0 will support Jakarta and Tomcat 11 / Wildfly 32.

The new version can be downloaded here:

https://axis.apache.org/axis2/java/rampart/download.html

It is also available from Maven central. There is a delay in getting the
release artifacts onto Maven Central - it may
take several more hours or even tomorrow for that.
