Actually, the problem is more tricky than it seems. If the code referring to DataSource was using DataSourceComponentSelector (selector service is concept from Avalon) above configuration would work. Nevertheless, it's completely to refer beans bypassing selector so documentation and bridge's code itself must be fixed.
