Resolver quick start or tutorial wanted

I just downloaded xml-commons-resolver-1.1.zip.  I couldn't find a
quick-start document or a tutorial in the zip file.  I also can't find one
on apache.org or anywhere else on the web.

Can anyone provide a URL to a page that explains how to use the resolver
with XercesJ?
