Summary: [resolver] patch making XCatalog support actually
functional plus other minor cleanup
Product: XmlCommons
Version: 1.x
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: Resolver
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
When I attempted to use XCatalog support, I found it was totally broken. I've
patched it so that it works properly. I'm attempting to move XMLC (
http://xmlc.enhydra.org/ ) to using Xerces2. This means I lose the XCatalog
support that Xerces1 had. If Resolver XCatalog support doesn't work, that puts
the kabosh on my attempt at Xerces2 support.
I've listed the problems with the current version [1] and Michael Glavassevich
mentioned that he would ship the updated version of resolver.jar in Xerces-2.8.0
if it got released sometime this month. I hope that can be accomplished.
Patch coming up!....
