Thanks for all of your assistance. But I have to say that Shift + F5 does
nothing. And somehow I must have screwed up my user name and password when
I installed eXist. I can't access Monex without correcting this problem.
I will contact Oracle today and see if there is something that can be added
to an installation program so that the program can automatically detect and
adjust the Java version in a Linux computer. If they help me design a
program that can do this, I will let you know so that you may consider
adding it to future editions of eXist.

I have a reason for such a development. I finally have a basic
understanding of the Bezier curve. I plan to teach on YouTube the
fundamentals of using eXist to create Bezier curves. I'm aware that you
don't have to use eXist for creating Bezier curves. But if you want to do
good animations, a working knowledge of a database could prove essential to
such a project. If all goes well, I will recommend eXist to all of the
people watching my videos. If I run into any difficulties creating the
Bezier curve, I will let you know. This group appears to be a better group
than AskUbuntu. I asked them some questions a few days ago and as of yet I
have not received a single answer to any of them. That could change in
the near future. I certainly hope so.

If any of you could recommend a video editing suite on Linux that is
comparable to Nero, that would be great. I know that I can use Handbrake
to convert .mov files to .mp4 files. But Handbrake is clunky and not
really suited for video editing. This is especially true if I plan to
insert SVG images in my future videos. I also plan to replace the hard
drive in my Acer Aspire R15 computer because it crashed. I will install
Linux and eXist in that computer because once the hard drive is replaced it
should still function. Originally it was equipped with a 5400 rpm hard
disk drive. Is there anything else I should know about that computer
before I replace that hard drive? I don't want to damage the motherboard.
