Opening a file in eXide in a large folder

Hello

I have a folder with a lot of files (probably more than 100K).
When I try to open a file, with open or manage files, in eXide, I can
filter by some of the names, but not for recent files.

Is there any limit that might be producing this?
Is there a way to open a file if you know its full name, instead of using
the browse mechanism?
