Mark Jones commented on FOP-2780:

This is still an issue as of 2.11, though I see some potential related fixes:

> Project: FOP
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: fo/inline
> Affects Versions: 2.1, 2.2, 2.7, 2.8
> Environment: CentOS 7, virtualized hardware

> When using <fo:inline-container inline-progression-dimension="x">, contents within the child <fo:block> aren't allowed to break to the next page. Testing was conducted in FOP 2.1 and 2.2. This may not be supportable behavior, or may require implementation of overflow="repeat", but I couldn't find related issues in the system and decided to submit my own. Attached examples:
> * *fo-test-22-ipd.xml & fo-test-22-ipd.pdf* - Fo and corresponding PDF output demonstrating inline-progression-dimension and page overflow.
