upgrading to FOP 2.1

Hi,

We want to move our application from FOP 0.20.5 to FOP 2.1.
After upgrading, i noticed that the running times have increased compared to version 0.20.5.
Is there something to put in the fop.xconf file?
Have you suggestions for improving performance?
