The “changes” page says 2.2 doesn’t give the release date:

The “TBD” implies that it hasn’t been released yet.

Also, maybe the PDFBox 2 related bullet points should be consolidated into one, along with a mention of the version FOP 2.1 was using, so a person could easily compare the two.
