We already have our dist documents in svn at:
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/forrest/dist

We have HEADER.html and README.html to direct to our downloads area, those people who browse a mirror, and for important notes.

We use the old technique of manually copying the release packages into people.apache.org:/www/www.apache.org/dist/forrest/
