I have followed our instructions in etc/cocoon_upgrade/
It works.

Did not yet do Step 3 and Step 4 (regarding updating other supporting libraries) as there is a mixture with some of our libraries being newer and vice versa. I have manually compared the lists of jars for each project and will post a comparison soon.

Also not yet done Step 9 (regarding config files).

Did need to twiddle the PDF plugin now that Cocoon has caught up and it does works nicely. See FOR-1193.

Our usual tests do seem to work properly.
