Hi, Do you know when this might happen? S P From: Bertrand Delacretaz <bdelacretaz@co...> </mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=43148> ANN: jfor is going to be merged into FOP </mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=43148> 2001-11-28 22:28 Hi all, In case you haven't heard yet: recently the FOP team (xml.apache.org/fop) agreed to accept the source code of jfor as a donation, in order to merge jfor into FOP. The goal is to allow FOP to generate RTF as well as PDF output, without users having to download several packages. For us developers, it will mean taking advantage of FOP code, mainly regarding parsing and analysis of the input XSL-FO documents. This is going to take some time - currently I'm talking to the FOP team about how to best integrate our code. We expect to release jfor V0.6 shortly, including Chris Scott's many improvements. V0.6 is most probably going to be the last standalone release of jfor before it is merged into FOP. -- -- Bertrand Delacrétaz, <http://www.codeconsult.ch> -- jfor.org lead developer ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf
