nested blocks

Hi,
I find one issue with nested blocks. In the following example

<fo:block font-size="8pt" font-weight="bold">
          This must be followed by empty paragraph.
          <fo:block>&#160;</fo:block>
          This comes after the empty paragraph.
</fo:block>
  
"This comes after the empty
paragraph." string has default font name, size and decoration instead of
font-size="8pt" and font-weight="bold".
Does anybody has suggestions or ideas how to fix this?
