Page numbers. How to restart?

Hi jfor-users!
I have 2 questions about page numbers.

1. How to restart page numbers within the boundaries of one document?
2. Is it possible to have page numbers like I, II, III, IV or a, b, c?

If somebody knows how to do this please let me know.
