Hi Jyothi -

You are right, the ObjectBox is a Java application, and requires a Java
runtime or development environment to work.

The simplest way to run your program is to go through these steps:

1) install Java 1.4 or newer
you can check if Java is already installed by opening a terminal/dos
window and executing the command:
     java -version

2) download objectbox.jar from here:

http://download.pingdynasty.com/o-xml/ObjectBox/current/objectbox.jar

3) put the program (note.xml) and objectbox.jar in the same directory
and execute:
     java -jar objectbox.jar note.xml

The output should appear on the screen.

I've just added more detailed Quickstart instructions on the website:
     http://www.o-xml.org/documentation/obox-quickstart.html

hope this helps, regards,

/m
