I've just created a very simple, partial, SrcML->MLML transformation stylesheet. It doesn't yet translate function bodies - ie statements and expressions. However it seems to do a decent job with classes, fields and methods. So thanks to the brilliant work done by Frank et al, it is now possible to generate MLML from Java using the SrcML Java parser. Even though only class stubs come through, this is already quite useful. With the existing MLML stylesheets, you can: - Generate HTML and DocBook documentation from Java and - Produce UML diagrams (XMI 1.2) - Java reverse-engineering! An MLML->SrcML transformation would automatically give us UML->Java, which is also pretty nice. The stylesheets are available in a new MLML CVS module [1] together with some other stuff. I should be making regular updates to this in the near future. regards, /m [1] http://cvs.pingdynasty.com/viewcvs/mlml/
