Ok, I've placed them here:

The latter schema was converted from XML Schema* with the Sun 
conversion tool.  I had to tweak the resulting RNG schema a bit to get 
it to work.

Here's the current combined-schema-that-doesn't-work, which I am 
calling mods-bn.rnc:
