EJB Issue

Being a newbie to Resin, can anyone answer my question.

Can we deploy  an EJB without extending the Caucho Specific classes. (We are
trying to deploy our app on Resin, the com.caucho.ejb.AbstractSessionBean
class extends java.lang.Object as well and this is creating problems while
deploying). is there any way to circumvent this ??
