I think the latency happens on DNS-resolution and routing but I am way
not an expert in networks.
thanks for your efforts... maybe, as long as we have guaranteed
interoperability with XML-RPC we can stick to Apache XML-RPC on the
client which is very small and would keep-alive, I think (after changing
the parser to Saxon's Aelfred though).
As for the server, is there anything to change on your side in order to
enable Tomcat's keep-alive ? I don't think so.
