I haven't chosen one yet.  This is more of an exploratory question to see if
it's possible.  The other alternative that I've managed to come up with is
by writing an XML-RPC interface via servlet that then talks back to my
application in a more native messaging format (XML-RPC -> Web Service ->
CORBA -> Application).  However, that adds a layer of complexity and
overhead that I'd rather avoid..
