Wrong XML returned

Hello,

I hope someone can help me with this problem.
I have setup a simple script with xml-rpc to get xml back from a server.
Works OK but the xml that is returned looks like this:

<methodResponse>
<params>
<param>
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<methodResponse>
  <params>
   <param>

But it should be:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<methodResponse>
  <params>
   <param>

Someone know how to remove the first 3 line from the returned xml?
If it is usefull I can post the code of the script for you.
