Excellent. It seems that you saved me lots of work. For some reason I had jsonrpc in my mind as some derivative of xmlrpc, using a less structured format (json instead of xml), but otherwise following the same mechanism. After a quick check of the jsonrpc specs I realize that I was wrong, and it looks like it is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much! A.
