That would fine with me - for now.
My comment was mostly intended to be rhetorical, trying to get things going.
Apparently with success. ;-)

Although I do have an opinion:
- When startDocument() was called, then endDocument() must be called,
  unless the parser (or a call-back) throws an exception before parsing
  is finished.
