SAX2r3pre1: a little extra time

The courthouse called yesterday and pushed my jury duty back a week, so I 
will have time Monday to package up the final release, and will allow the 
weekend for further checking.  I would be grateful if everyone could take a 
look at the prerelease on the SourceForge site and ensure that it is in a 
good, consistent state (there is one small extra change in CVS since the 
prerelease, from Norman Walsh -- see yesterday's postings).
