Problem with SAX Parser

Hi,

For our Enterprise application integration we use the SAX parser 
for requests that come to EAI. we upload files with the requests 
to be parsed by the SAX parser. However, if there is a junk 
character in the file the SAX parser exits unlike the DOM parser 
which would abort parsing the message with the error and continue 
with the next message. Is there a way of tacking this problem.
