Hello Is it possible to implement a SAX parser such that it preserves the integrity of character references? I have written code that does it for entity references but character reference are being resolved... For instance I would like for 4 to go through a parser and come out as 4 I am running on Windows2000 professional, I am using JDK1.4 and Xerces Java 2. My parser extends DefaultHandler and implements LexicalHandler. I have set the validating feature to false. Thanks in advance Patrice Yuh Senior Software Engineer. ScienceDirect.
