hello list,
a page (http://www.saxproject.org/event.html) on the official sax web site says:
"...it is possible to use an event-based API to traverse an
in-memory tree..."
i _assume_ i have the following dilema: the existing implementation of
our app uses xpath throughout the entire app - using dom; word came
down that we had to improve performance of the existing app by
switching from dom to sax. i assumed that since we use xpath, that
that precludes the use of sax; i assumed that you absolutely had to
use dom whenever you used xpath.
the above quote from the sax web site suggests i've assumed
incorrectly. please, can anybody elaborate on the quote and clue me in
how we might "traverse an in-memory tree" using sax?
thanks in advance for your replies.
