What about using
[email protected]
(ASF-Wide Announcement list)
for the release announcement of "Release 1.0" (Final) ??

Yeah, you have to use "@apache.org" mail address (From: headerline)
when posting to this address, however, *Release 1.0*
is the effort of the Apache Software Foundation as well
as WS-Axis team.
