load balancing

Hi. I have an Apache soap Application that has been working fine for the last dew years. However we have now applied load balancing to the solutuion and we are gettin alot of responses where the soap server is not available. Does any one know how resilient this version of soap is when faced with requests from 2 different servers at the same time? Any advice or opinons would be well received.
