passing file path as parameter

Hello,
I am using Apache SOAP Com plugin to access a COM DLL and in this DLL I 
have to send a file path as string parameter, as this DLL will be using 
this file for doing some processing. But as I send this file path string, 
I didn’t receive any message from the DLL.
 I think that the file path is not going properly to this DLL is there is 
any one who can help me how should I g about. And also is passing file 
path as the parameter is sufficient in this case.
