textPath - works in IE8 with Adobe AddOn - nearly in Chrome - not in Firefox

Hope someone can offer guidance, please

 - works perfectly in IE8 with Adobe AddOn
 - nearly in Chrome
 - not in Firefox


It is just a little test to help me to produce good SVG that works in all major Browsers.


I have spent hours tweaking but have got nowhere
