I overheard a homeless alcoholic tell his friend "Let's get drunk and pretend to be somebody". That about sums up what the conference is about in my opinion. A Microsoft PowerPoint circle jerk talking about what you could do, without having anything produced.

I'd be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts no one presenting will even use SVG in their presentations, javascript and tired old HTML implementations will be the norm.

My feelings are summed up by the words of Bo Diddly at the end of this song. Song could be about the W3 SVG working group instead of music.
