Reminder about The Graphical Web 2014 in Winchester England

Hi folks,

 

This year's Graphical Web conference (formerly SVG Open) will be August
27-30 in Winchester England. The theme is "Visual Storytelling" and our
hosts will be the UK's Office of National Statistics.

Already W3C and Google are supporting the conference (which gives web and
mobile authors a rare opportunity to interact with "implementers"  and "spec
writers").

 

The call for abstracts is open until April 7th. 

 

Think about all things visual on the web, including those things that are
accessible on the web! Those are the stories we want to hear about!

 

This year's conference will be much like the SVG Open (of old), so the venue
should be intimate, polite, delightful and graphical!

 

And, I am hoping that we might be able, in some way, to help the W3C
celebrate the 25th year of the WWW!
