http://cs.sru.edu/~ddailey/svgtests/gradientStroke1d.svg I was fiddling with stroke animation and encountering terrible cross-browser troubles http://cs.sru.edu/~ddailey/svg/cssSVGrotate3.htm and http://cs.sru.edu/~ddailey/svg/cssSVGrotate2.htm and decided it would be fun to try something like the first example. I am sure that with a bit of thought, it can be improved. Thanks to Bruce Rindahl for suggesting the ENTITY tag and for his cool work with declarative planetary motion!
