Strangely enough the question is also somehow related to the previous thread about calligraphy. A software calligrapher would allow you to enter text, choose a pen nib, set inclination, font design parameters like contrast etc., in short, all that is in your mind (and in calligraphy and fonts books) when attempting calligraphy.
