Resizing the SVG element dynamically on mouse events

Hi Friends,
 

  I am very new to SVG. Currently i am able to create the shapes dynamically with the mouse events. But on "TextBox" creation, i am facing some problems. So i have created textarea instead of text. Is it a right approach or give your suggestion.
 

 Also i done with drag and drop features. Now i am trying to do resizing of all SVG shapes, but still i am not getting the correct way to do. So if you have any suggestions or ideas, kindly revert back to me asap. Thanks in advance.
