xsl:template match patterns are XPath pattern expressions. When xsl:template match pattern expressions are parsed and they have errors, the error location within an XSL stylesheet isn't reported correctly and line and column numbers are reported as -1.

I'm creating this jira issue, to track implementation of this Xalan-J xslt3.0 development code improvement.
