stopping transformer mid-transform

Hi Guys,

I want to put a cancel button on a Xalan GUI we've made for our transfomations, I was just wonder...once you've called transformer.transform(...), is there a nice way to cancel it (for long running tranformations or when some spanner has put an infinite loop in their xslt)?
